What are the classes like?
Online lessons with assessments, at your own pace, from your phone or your computer. There are no schedules and no live classes to catch.
How long does the course take?
There is no fixed length and no deadline to finish. Everyone moves at their own pace and can go back and review the lessons whenever they need to.
Do I need previous experience?
No. The programs start from zero and are built for people who have never worked in the trade.
How does the EPA 608 exam work?
The first attempt is included in the EPA 608 program; additional attempts cost $59.99.
LTCF coordinates registration and processing with an authorized external provider, who proctors the exam. Once you pass, the certification is issued and mailed to your home by an independent certifying organization approved by the EPA.
Is it valid in every state?
The EPA 608 certification is federal and valid in all fifty states.
To work on your own in licensed trades, such as electrical work, each state also requires its own license. The course gives you the training you take to it.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. When you finish you receive LTCF’s digital certificate of completion, included in the price. The printed one is ordered separately.
